This warm still life focuses on golden daffodils and zesty mandarins arranged on a wooden board, drawing the viewer toward the vase of flowers at the center of the composition. The bright yellow daffodils are set against a dark, moody backdrop, allowing their color to glow.

Light is used to highlight small, often overlooked details—the translucency of the vase, the textured skin of the mandarins, and the gentle folds of cloth.
